Bioethanol Burners

Bioethanol burners are powered by liquid bioethanol, these renewable energy fires do not require a flue.

Burning a plant based renewable fuel that produces no carbon monoxide means that you do not require a flue. Sealing the existing flue, or not having one in the first place, means that all of the heat stays in the room. In a normal open gas fire, 80% of the heat produced by the fire disappears up the flue.

Bioethanol fires do not require annual servicing by a qualified gas engineer, and without a flue, there is no need for one to be swept on a regular basis either. This simplicity reduces the cost of ownership of a bio fire. Bioethanol fires typically only require a wipe down now and again.

Versatility is another advantage with a bioethanol burner over that of a gas fire. Manual bioethanol fires just lift in and out, should you want to move them. The remote control bioethanol fires are typically only connected by a power chord, unless you have a separate fuel tank fitted. So relocation and self installation can be carried out without any specialist knowledge in most cases.
